Families with Children from China-Greater Cincinnati, Inc. (FCC-GC) is an organization that serves to support families who have children of Chinese and/or Asian origin; encourage adoption from China and Asia; provide information that fosters understanding, respect, and appreciation for the cultural heritage of children of Chinese and/or Asian descent; and advocate for and support children remaining in orphanages in China and Asia.
To honor the purpose of our organization, as established in its bylaws, membership in FCC-GC is open to all families with adoptees of Chinese and/or Asian descent. We currently have families with children adopted from China, South Korea, and Taiwan as members of the organization.

“I, personally, feel strongly that we need to be inclusive. This is about our kids having a place to be in the majority (for once) and honoring their cultures. It would be heartbreaking for any adoptees to be without a group that would welcome them and give them a place with loving adults and Asian mentors that can help them grow into maturity, proudly respecting their uniqueness." – Cindi Kent, FCC-GC member |
